TECAU - welding smoke detection hoods are characterised by a special design which allows optimum detection with relatively low exhaust air volumes despite large covered areas. They consist of aluminium or sheet steel and have a mechanically resistant coating. The internal structure consists of an inner hood with slotted edge extraction (20 mm wide), profiles for stiffening and stabilisation at the mounting points of the consoles, uprights etc. From this basic construction, any size and type of hood can be manufactured, even with case-specific adjustments.
