Build-up welding – we can coat and manufacture according to your wishes
Besides the development and production of cored wires, wear plates and sintering bands, specialist services round off our business area, ensuring support for our customers from a single source. The build-up welding of customer-supplied fittings and tools is one of these supplementary services. The choice of technologies used by us is individually distinct. All conventional arc welding processes are available. As consumables, cored wire electrodes and powder, for example for plasma powder coatings, are used.
During the tendering stage, we comprehensively assist and advise our customers. This includes both the choice of the appropriate armour-plating material and the choice of technologies for application. If no definite recommendations can be made based on experience, there is the possibility of carrying out wear tests or sample coatings. For the subsequent reliable assessment of the coating results, we use the latest analysis methods.
However, our services do not stop at welding coatings. With our mechanical production capabilities, we offer our customers a complete solution. In addition to small components for a sample study as well as small-scale production or series production with robot-assisted build-up welding, we also undertake the regeneration of large parts of heavy-duty machines with possible unit weights of up to 30 t (e.g. sinter breaker waves ).

It is not always economically wise to invest immediately in a production plant, or the quantities do not permit such an investment. In this case, we offer you contract manufacturing on our production equipment.
Our employees have the necessary know-how to manufacture new products quickly and reliably in series. We also take on assembly tasks and quality assurance for the assemblies.

We are specialized in welding components for rail vehicles and have been certified by the Swiss Welding Society (SVS) according to EN ISO 15085-2 CL1.
