Il taglio è la prima fase dell'analisi del materiale. La scelta della macchina da taglio e della mola da taglio deve essere conforme alle dimensioni geometriche e alle caratteristiche del materiale del campione. Il taglio metallografico perfetto deve evitare danni termici e deformazioni della microstruttura e preservare la precisione e l'efficienza necessarie.
La durezza e la duttilità sono i due parametri principali per la scelta della mola da taglio. La scelta migliore della mola da taglio dipende dalle dimensioni, dalla durezza e dalla duttilità del materiale e dall'attrezzatura utilizzata. La lucidatura consiste nell'utilizzare una piccola quantità di polvere o di liquido per lucidatura da posizionare sul panno per lucidatura, per poi lucidare il campione. Lo scopo della lucidatura è quello di rimuovere le deformazioni e i graffi che si sono verificati durante il processo di rettifica, ottenendo una superficie a specchio graffiata per l'analisi microscopica della microstruttura.

Since more than 50 years BREUER develops buffing machines for he cold rolling industry. The robust and heavy design with efficient measures to avoid vibration together with a high level of experience has made BREUER to a market leader. Buffing/Polishing of hardened and tempered steel strips is very often linked to BREUER buffing and polishing machines. Low downtime during changing of the buffing rolls is essential to achieve high productivity. The cantilever type of polishing shafts allow a quick change within a few minutes.
Buffing of coil surfaces is performed with rotation buffing rolls with application of a liquid polishing paste. For each task different material for the buffing roll can be used like cotton, fibre, sisal or steel wire. The type of buffroll material and the type of paste in combination with speed and pressure will process the surface from a very dull to a very bright finish.
Linishing and polishing machines
Our new and second hand linishing and polishing machines can be used for processing a variety of work pieces such as hollowware, kitchen utensils, sanitary fittings, builders hardware, lamp parts automotive parts ect.
The product range includes manual processing machines, flat polishing machines, rotary indexing tables, deburring machines as well as robot.We are manufacturer of the high pressure spray guns type HDP, HDP-II and WIDOSPRAY as well as the low pressure spray gun PERPLEX (LSW) which are mainly used to spray liquid polishing compounds onto buffing wheels.
Furthermore we are offering our bar feeders type WPZ- 80 and WPZ 150 for solid polishing compound bars with max. width of 150mm. For all systems not more than 4 – 6 bar compressed air is required.
