Since it was founded in 2005 - as a German sister company of the Dutch Horrichs Apparatenbouw BV and Holland Filter BV - UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has combined the knowledge and experience of these two traditional companies.

The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.

Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Within the food industry, UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has acquired knowledge in the field of production of various apparatuses and internal transport systems.

Of course, these devices are also made of stainless steel. From the food industry we have been able to gain experience in the field of stainless steel industry as well as in other branches of industry.

The UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH differs from other suppliers by a consistent, customer-oriented tailoring of their products.

If necessary, manufactured devices can be professionally assembled on site with the help of VCA-certified employees.

TQS - Un'azienda giovane con una lunga tradizione
Nel 1910, l'azienda è stata fondata a Berlino come Deutsch-Englische-Quarzschmelze GmbH. L'azienda produceva principalmente prodotti di silice fusa per varie applicazioni nell'industria chimica, che all'epoca era ancora giovane e fiorente.
Nel 1957, l'azienda si trasferì a Magonza, dove fu gestita fino al 1965 come joint venture tra TSL - Thermal Syndicate Ltd. (Inghilterra) e Jenaer Glaswerke Schott+Genossen (Germania).
Nel 1965 - nel frattempo divenuta una società interamente controllata dal Gruppo TSL - l'azienda trasferì la propria sede a Wiesbaden e d'ora in poi operò con il nome di TQS - Thermal Quarz-Schmelze GmbH.
Da quel momento in poi, l'attenzione di Wiesbaden si è concentrata sullo sviluppo continuo di radiatori al quarzo a infrarossi e di componenti in vetro ottico al quarzo. Grande importanza è sempre stata data alla stretta collaborazione con i clienti. In questo modo è stato possibile portare al successo molti nuovi sviluppi e miglioramenti nel corso degli anni.
Nel 1988, l'intero Gruppo TSL è stato acquisito dal Gruppo francese Saint-Gobain.
A partire dal 2000, l'azienda di Wiesbaden ha operato con il nome di Saint-Gobain Quartz GmbH, Wiesbaden.
Nel 2009, nel corso di un'operazione di management buyout, l'azienda è stata in grado di darsi un assetto giuridicamente indipendente con il logo ancora noto TQS – Technical Quartz Solutions GmbH -.
L'ultimo passo nella lunga storia di TQS® è avvenuto all'inizio del 2015, quando la società di esportazione VS Technical Supplies GmbH, con sede a Francoforte, ha acquisito il 100% delle azioni di TQS®.
