WHO WE ARE
ALTRAFO Srl starts its activity since 2003 and it specializes in producing electrical transformers for electric energy use in medium voltage. Thanks to multi-ten-yearly experience in the electric plant engineering for HV cabins or LV panels, in repairing motors and electric transformers, its founders undertake since 2003 the ambitious project to manufacture and market cast resin transformers for medium voltage.
QUALIFIED DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING
ALTRAFO Srl designs all the transformer components: magnetic core, insulation system and active parts. It supplies with modern automatic and semi-automatic machines such as windings, resin englobing and impregnation plant, furnaces, climatic cells, with a furnished test room complete with all the instruments necessary to perform tests according to IEC 60076-11.
CUSTOMISED TRANSFORMERS
ALTRAFO Srl, thanks to very high skill of its internal resources, can design and manufacture not standard machines either for what concerns voltage levels or for transformers powers that customer requests, but also for appplcations that range from energy distribution to photovoltaic and wind generation, from furnaces to LV isolation transformers and to machines for traction.
CERTIFIED QUALITY
Factory activities obey to certified quality system ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, while product obtained climatic and environmental certifications for C2, E2, F1 classes issued by an external laboratory recognized SINAL. To a very good quality of its production, ALTRAFO Srl adds a satisfying competitiveness and delivery times under the usual time of market also for not standard machines, thanks to the great reactivity of its staff in managing orders.

PLANT
Its plant is situated in Matera industrial area and is extended on a surface of 4000 mq, whole 2000 mq dedicated to production, 400 mq to offices and the remaining areas to warehouse and logistics.

Conoscere la nostra storia
Fondata nel 2013, ABMT ha iniziato con l'intento di vendere e ricondizionare trasformatori elettrici. Nel 2015, dopo aver vinto un contratto per il riciclo dei trasformatori in Piauí, l'azienda ha ampliato le sue attività per recuperare altri materiali che compongono i trasformatori, come olio minerale, rame, alluminio, materiali ferrosi e non ferrosi.
Nel 2020 ha iniziato ad ampliare la struttura dello stabilimento e, l'anno successivo, ha raddoppiato la flotta di camion. Sempre nel 2021, firma il suo primo contratto internazionale. Infine, nel 2023, ha firmato un contratto con una delle maggiori società elettriche del Paese.
