GETA mbH, 1986 yılında Wangen im Allgäu'da lisansüstü mühendis (FH) Robert Buhmann tarafından kurulmuştur. Örnek gelişim ruhu, çözümlere ve teknik uzmanlığa açık odaklanma temelinde, Geta hızla demiryolu araçları için nitelikli bir iç çözüm üreticisi olarak bir isim kazandı.

2006 yılında başarıyla tamamlanan Çin'deki ortak girişim 2020 yılında sona erdi. Ortaklarımızla ortaya çıkan temasları ve iyi ilişkileri aktif olarak sürdürüyoruz.

2014 yılında Wangen'deki merkezimizi yaklaşık 3.000 m2 genişlettik. Bir yıl sonra, 2015 yılında, iştirakçı Geta Rus Mosko'da kuruldu. 2019 ve 2021'de Wangen'deki sitemizi toplam 5.000 m2 daha genişletme fırsatını yakaladık.

1788 Count of shipowners from Koenigsbrueck founded in Berne Village, the " iron works" with an iron hammer and a melting furnace for smelting of bog iron from the environment.
1990 Foundation of Foundry Engineering GmbH, based in Bern village , with the following production program :

As of 1992, steel structures, tanks and pipeline construction are included in the production program .
