Crossed roller linear guides are linear guides in which cylindrical rollers with cages are assembled between two rail bases with two V-shaped flat surfaces as rail grooves. Since the rollers are arranged in an alternating and orthogonal arrangement, they can withstand loads in any direction and therefore can perform smooth linear motion with extremely high precision.
