Implementation ifm cylinder sensors with protection class IP 69 K meet the high requirements and reliably detect the piston position. Customer benefits The sensor is immediately clamped in the groove in a mechanically stable manner due to its self-clamping fixing. An AMR element is built into the new cylinder sensors. This works according to the magnetoresistive method. The AMR cell is extremely sensitive to magnetic fields. This means that the sensors can be used wherever exact position detection and small hysteresis are required, for example in short-stroke cylinders.
