Wisy vortex fine filter WFF 100 with extension
The WFF filters, connected to a horizontally running sewer pipe, the roof drainage water, which is then fed into a storage tank.
The rainwater arriving from the roof runs laterally into the WFF and is conducted over a wide area over the cylindrical filter fabric. There, using the force of adhesion, the roof drainage water is drawn through the vertically positioned fine filter and fed to the storage tank via the outlet connection, while the dirt is flushed to the sewer with the residual water. According to this principle, more than 90% of the rainwater filtered.
The open cross sections of the roof drainage pipes are continuously maintained at WFF.
There are no cross-sectional constrictions in the device where dirt and water can accumulate. This is particularly important in the case of torrential rain with considerable water ingress. In such cases, a good 50% filtered water is always fed into the storage tank. Excess Rainwater is directly led to the drain.
The filter fabric cleans itself to a large extent, since practically nothing can stick to the vertical fabric.
Sloping roof surfaces made of slate, clay tiles or concrete blocks are preferably suitable as catchment areas. Green roof areas are suitable to a limited extent due to their low water yield. Unsealed asbestos cement roofs are not suitable.
These asbestos roofs are not only environmentally and health problematic, the washed-out fibres of this roof covering also clog the fine filter fabric.
With the aid of a blind insert (accessory) it is possible to put the filters out of operation. The rainwater then flows on unfiltered into the drainage channel (shutdown of the rainwater system, winter operation).
The WFF 100 is suitable for roof areas up to 200 m².
It is ATV tested and fulfils the DIN 1986.
The cover can be driven on up to 30t.
