The business activities of the company cover comprehensive manufacturing technology and services of:
blast cleaning,
application of coatings with galvanizing methods: zinc, tin and nickel plating,
calibration of measuring and control equipment.
Our customers are provided with professional services and technical support.
The company is a very efficient player in the contemporary market economy – we are a leading national manufacturer of automation solutions for the cooling and heating business and a major exporter of products to international markets.
The priorities of the company include the implementation of innovative technical solutions and continuous development within the areas of operations, sales, organization and technology and production in particular.
The company provides services to approx. 500 customers, which include international corporations.
The qualifications of the company have been proven since 1999 with ISO certificates. The most recent certificate has been obtained in 2009 to confirm the compatibility of the Quality Management System with ISO 9001:2008 standard.
The Automation Manufacturing Plant is a member of the Association of Polish Exporters and the Business Center Club.
Since it was founded in 2005 - as a German sister company of the Dutch Horrichs Apparatenbouw BV and Holland Filter BV - UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has combined the knowledge and experience of these two traditional companies.
The products were originally used for process and waste water treatment, with extensive experience being gained particularly in the food industry.
Especially in this area, it is of great importance that the equipment is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials. The decision to exclusively use stainless steel and other high-quality materials was then quickly made. Within the food industry, UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH has acquired knowledge in the field of production of various apparatuses and internal transport systems.
Of course, these devices are also made of stainless steel. From the food industry we have been able to gain experience in the field of stainless steel industry as well as in other branches of industry.
The UrMaTi Apparatebau GmbH differs from other suppliers by a consistent, customer-oriented tailoring of their products.
If necessary, manufactured devices can be professionally assembled on site with the help of VCA-certified employees.
Due to the many possible uses of stainless steel and our knowledge of the diverse processing options, we are also represented in the field of interior and garden design.
With the help of this and other pages we hope to offer you a complete picture of our delivery programs and the many possibilities in this regard.

Automatic self-cleaning water filters are water filters that automatically clean themselves without the need for manual intervention. They do this by reversing the flow of water through the filter, which flushes out any trapped debris.
There are two main types of automatic self-cleaning water filters:
Backwashing filters: These filters use a backwashing mechanism to flush out the debris. Backwashing is a process where the flow of water is reversed through the filter, which causes the debris to be dislodged and flushed away.
Mechanically cleaned filters: These filters use a mechanical mechanism to clean the filter. This mechanism can be a brush, a scraper, or a pulsing jet of water.
The self-cleaning process can be initiated based on preset time intervals, differential pressure measurements, or other parameters, and often employs backwashing, rotating brushes, or suction scanning among other techniques to clear the filter media or element of contaminants.
Automatic self-cleaning water filters are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the needs of different applications. They are commonly used in industrial, commercial, and municipal settings, but they can also be used in homes.
Here are some of the benefits of using automatic self-cleaning water filters:
- They require little maintenance.
- They can remove a wide range of contaminants, including sediment, bacteria, and viruses.
- They can help to improve the taste and quality of water.
- They can extend the lifespan of other water treatment equipment.
Automatic self-cleaning industrial water filters are designed to cater to a wide range of applications in various industries due to their ability to maintain consistent water quality and flow rates while reducing maintenance. Typical applications include:
Cooling Towers: They help in preventing the clogging of nozzles and ensuring efficient heat exchange by removing suspended solids from the cooling water.
Heat Exchangers: These filters protect heat exchangers from particulate buildup, which can reduce heat transfer efficiency and increase energy costs.
Process Water Treatment: Industries like paper and pulp, petrochemical, and chemical manufacturing use self-cleaning filters to ensure high-quality process water.
Irrigation: In agricultural applications, they prevent the clogging of drip and spray irrigation systems by filtering out organic and inorganic materials.
Wastewater Treatment: These filters can be used as a pretreatment step to protect downstream equipment from large solids or to enhance the efficiency of subsequent treatment processes.
Aquaculture: Ensuring clean water is crucial for fish farms. These filters help in removing waste and other particles, ensuring a healthier environment for fish.
Mining: In mineral extraction processes, they're used to filter out particulate matter from process water.
Food and Beverage Production: They can be used to ensure consistent water quality for various processes, from washing raw materials to process cooling.
Oil and Gas: In both upstream and downstream processes, these filters are used to treat water used in drilling, hydraulic fracturing, and refining processes.
Municipal Water Treatment: They can act as a pre-filtration step, protecting more sensitive downstream processes like membrane systems.
Desalination Plants: These filters are used as a pretreatment step to remove larger particles before the seawater undergoes processes like reverse osmosis.
Power Generation: In power plants, especially those using steam turbines, clean water is essential. These filters ensure the water used is free from particulates that could harm the machinery.
Metalworking and Manufacturing: Used to filter coolants and wash water to remove metal shavings, fines, and other particulates.
Recycled Water Systems: They aid in filtering out contaminants from recycled or reused water, ensuring its suitability for its intended use.
This list is by no means exhaustive, as automatic self-cleaning water filters can be beneficial in any application where large volumes of water need to be consistently filtered with minimal manual intervention.
