Economisers
Economiser exhaust gas heat exchangers serve to utilise the residual heat from flue gases for heating thermal oil, feed water and heating water. Depending on the design, the "Ecos" enable an increased level of efficiency of the boiler system of approx. 3% to 10%, and thus save valuable fuel
Economisers can be produced from corrugated or smooth pipe depending on the fuel and application.
BBS Economisers are usually equipped with a flue gas control valve with actuator. This serves to facilitate temperature control and protects the ECO matrix against undercutting the dewpoint, and thus also against corrosion.
