The micanite radiator comes under the most different terms like foil radiator, surface heating element, micanite frame heating element, micanite floor heating element, flat heating element, band heater, frame heating element, micanite heating and floor heating plates into the trade. Reason is the various application possibilities and design of this radiator. The flat radiator is ideally suitable for the even and exact heating of heating presses, grill plates, welding mirrors and heat sealing machines.The micanite radiator is a very compact and thin radiator consisting of a heating micanite coil with a bare heating conductor and micanite insulation.Industrial process heat micanite radiators The surface heating element can be designed with or without sheet metal sheathing (galvanized, aluminium or stainless steel) as well as with various openings and drillings. The connections can be made either with heat-resistant pure nickel strands insulated with glass silk or with stranded bare connection strands.
Technical data:
The foil heater is suitable for working temperatures up to max. 350°C. The output is possible up to a maximum of 3.5 W/cm². The micanite radiators can be manufactured up to a maximum of 1000 x 1200 mm.
Important:
In order to achieve a good heat transfer it is necessary to press the flat radiator firmly onto the part to be heated. On request, we can also supply steel pressure plates to match our radiators.
