Due to the large customer base of the parent company and the good reputation, Wilfried Windhagen saw the opportunity to establish a second company pillar in inland navigation. One could fall back in the first time to a master from the winch construction. To ensure that the company succession is also secured in time, son Andreas joined the young company in 2000. Andreas Windhagen is a trained measurement and control mechanic. In addition, an external design office is attached to the winch construction department. If necessary, an engineering office is called in. Anchor and mooring winches are classified and approved by Germanischer Lloyd.
