Show more LINE TECH AG was founded in 1993 as a management buyout from FAG (Switzerland). The success story of LINE TECH began with four employees. In the same year, the company moved to Industriestrasse 47 in Glattbrugg.
Thanks to the continuous expansion of our business, we were also able to enter into a sales partnership with NSK some three years later. In 2001, the trading program was completed with cpc (Chieftek) products, which today are an important pillar in LINE TECH’s business portfolio.
Besides the trade expansion, our own products continued to develop strongly. At that time, only the program positioning units were taken over by FAG. Today, customers can choose from three different product groups of different sizes and different drive variants.
Gradually, the premises at Industriestrasse became too small. In mid-2003, we moved into new premises with modern infrastructure at Europastrasse 19 in Glattbrugg.

Show more Torque ball bushings are primarily drive elements for torque transmission with simultaneous translation movement. A variant of this is the rotary torque ball bushing, in which the outer ring is rotatably mounted. In this case, longitudinal grooves are ground into the shaft because the balls of the Torque Ball Bushings run in them. In the case of Torque Ball Bushings, the rolling element ball is also used, which takes over the transmission between the Ball Bushings and the shaft with ground grooves. The field of application is therefore comparable to that of splined shafts, only with the known advantages of a rolling element pairing. However, this system can still be adjusted backlash-free via the ball size and the rigidity can be increased via an appropriate preload. Another field of application is as a self-supporting, compact linear guide and thus as an alternative to two parallel round guides (torque absorption) or to rail guides that require a corresponding substructure. Torque ball bushings are available for shaft diameters from 4 to 100 mm. The torque shafts are available in ground or drawn design. Up to size 25, torque shafts and torque ball bushings can be obtained in stainless steel.
