Buffers made of the damping material Diepocell are used as end stops or stop buffers in many areas of industry. The advantages of the Diepocell material are its high energy absorption, very high formability and excellent damping behaviour.
The product families of Diepocell damping elements are divided into the buffers Diepocell MH 30 and the buffer elements Diepocell BM.
Stop buffers made of Diepocell MH 30 have been an integral part of the standard range for many years and are ideally suited for use in crane systems and in general mechanical engineering.
In addition, we have the new material Diepocell BM, which is hydrolysis resistant as standard to further improve damping behaviour. This results in extensive application possibilities even in areas with increased air humidity.
Individually adapted buffer elements can be designed and produced to suit customer-specific applications. Special shapes as well as specially adapted materials can be designed and offered by us.

GMT supplies rubber and rubber to metal bonded elements to reduce and eliminate unwanted vibration and noise in all kinds of construction equipment. High-frequency loads require elastomer qualities specially adapted to this application.
These applications typically have very high levels of mechanically induced vibration and impact stresses which have to be isolated. The large product range of GMT mountings, which have been especially developed for this purpose, include

• buffers and rails for vibrating drum rollers and vibration compaction plates

• cab suspension elements

In areas like the steering mechanism bushes, springs and steering rods are mainly used to achieve the desired isolation. The use of maintenance free mountings with a long service life is the economic choice for such like applications. Our In-house compounding specialists have the expertise to support customers when selecting compounds used for these applications, which can be improved for good oil-, grease- and / or frost- behaviour and physical properties.
When used for the isolation of vibrating drum rollers and vibration compaction plates the heavy duty rubber mounts are subjected to both shear and compression loading. GMT elements provide isolation of the vibrating drum or plate, hence preventing fatigue and wear on moving parts. Great demands are made on the mountings which are exposed to high loads and extreme environmental conditions.
For the suspension of the vehicle cab we recommend the use of GMT cone mountings. The special design of these mountings provides for different stiffness in the three main axes. This offers a high comfort for the driver and at the same time a safe guidance of the cab is provided.
