Professional video measuring systems mobile and stationary in modular design Zoom system: If the magnification has to be changed very often, it makes more sense to use the detent zoom systems. The working distance is not changed within the zoom range. In addition, the zoom systems have a greater depth of field than the CV systems. A snap-in zoom system consists of the actual zoom lens 6.5x or 12x, an adapter with intermediate lens from 0.5x to 3.5x, the C-mount adapter and the camera. It is assembled according to your requirements or a joint test at your plant. The zoom range can be changed by additional attachment lenses. The attachment lenses determine the working distance. Attachment lenses are available as 0.25x, 0.5x, 0.75x, 1.5x and 2x. The zoom lens without attachment lens is calculated as 1x. The resulting working distances vary between 356 mm and 36 mm. The individual detent steps are stored in the Metric in calibrated form. With the zoom lenses of the 6000 series this is five steps and with the 12000 series a total of eight steps. This number is multiplied by each attachment lens used. For a high level of process reliability, we recommend the use of motorized zoom systems, as the lens switching cannot be forgotten. This is done automatically by changing the measuring system in the measuring software. The zoom system is switched by a stepper motor. The zoom lenses are available with or without coaxial light reflection. Optionally a polarization control can be integrated. A variety of tripods, guides and holding systems result in a considerable number of configurations. Cross sliding tables as well as manual and motorized cross measuring tables extend the possibilities. On request, the Z-axis can also be supplied motorized (with or without measuring system). Corresponding accessory components enable space-saving installation in machines or devices. The zoom systems can be supplied in angled form or with deflecting mirrors.
