The standard microscope series 2034 impresses by its uncomplicated handling. Simply place the microscope on the measuring field, focus - done. Thanks to the clear acrylic base, the area to be tested can be seen from all sides. This makes it easy to locate the measuring point. Focusing is achieved by rotating the tube coaxially. The object is displayed in mirror image under the microscope due to the short beam path. The optical system consists of a lens and an eyecup. Since all lenses are coated, sharp and high-contrast images can be achieved. There are seven types of objectives available: 2x, 4x, 6x, 10x, 15x, 20x and 30x. The eyepiece has a 10x magnification and the focal plane is equipped with a scale. Thanks to the Huygens design with the focal plane in the lens system, dust contamination of the scale is eliminated. The lens closest to the eye in the eyepiece can be moved by turning the adjustment ring so that the scale can be adjusted according to the diopters of the observer. The eyepieces with integrated measuring scales for the respective magnification (objective) can be exchanged simply by pulling them out. If additional objectives are only to be used for visual inspection, no additional eyepieces are required. The lateral illumination allows measurements on dark surfaces or in darkened rooms. Two 1.5-volt mignon batteries are required for operation. The microscope is delivered in a padded transport box. It offers safe transport space for another four lenses, which are available as accessories. The 2034 series microscopes are more stable when using the MKH stand. It is an indispensable accessory for reliable checks on rollers. The use of the MKH tripod is also advantageous in connection with a digital camera. With the help of two adapter rings between the eyepiece of the microscope and the objective of the camera, the image can be taken with a photo digital camera.
