PUR flexible foam materials are among the materials with the most versatile application and solution potential — and have been part of our core business for 60 years.
On account of their open cellular structure and elastic walls, PUR foam materials are very flexible and, depending on the type, recover well. The open cellular structure also ensures high permeability to air and absorption of liquids.

Expanding Hard Foams
Foam-iT!® are rigid 2-component foams which are mixed in simple mixing ratios. The mixture can be poured or painted and, depending on the product version, expands by a multiple of the original volume. The material develops a uniform cell structure. Foam-iT!® 10 Slow is a slower special version and especially suitable for casting larger volumes. Foam-iT!® 8 is characterized by a tightly closed outer skin and an even more uniform cell structure. Together with Foam-iT!® 15, it is also ideally suited to be cast as a cost-effective, millable PUR block; ideal for model and prototype construction. All foams can be poured directly into a negative mould or used as backfill material for hollow castings or as cladding. Color effects are achieved with So-Strong® pigments.
Typical areas of application are the production of lightweight props for film and stage productions as well as numerous applications in industry and arts and crafts.
