Welcome to LuMa-Tec Handling SystemsLuMa-Tec has a global presence and is at home in Bavaria. From Hofheim, LuMa-Tec develops and produces extrusion lines and the respective downstream models, as well as special machines for plastics processing for national and international customers and markets.

Our main field of activity isthe production of extrusion machines, e.g. various extruders, cutters, coolingbaths, haul-offs, thermal ovens, spare parts, etc., and handling systems,partly for pipes up to 250 mm, sometimes larger on request.


Our highly automated production lines are used in production facilities all over the world. Our aim is to make extrusion processes safer. This includes, for example, very precise control of temperatures and other parameters in the production process. In future, we will achieve this through a very high degree of automation in process control in our newly developed LuMa-Tec production lines.

Since our foundation by Josef Jansen in 1923, we have developed from a small armored tube factory into a leading supplier of steel and plastic systems. Our history is characterized by a spirit of innovation, continuous growth and strong roots in the Oberriet region. As a third-generation family business, we attach great importance to long-term partnerships, social responsibility and the development of our employees.

We develop and produce high-quality steel profile systems for windows, doors, façades and folding and sliding systems. Our products are characterized by high stability, durability and aesthetic design and meet the highest security requirements.

Our plastic systems offer customized solutions for various industries:

Profile extrusion: individually manufactured plastic profiles used in various industries.

Water management: Drainage systems, manhole systems, double wall systems and rainwater management solutions that impress with their quality and durability.

Building services: Heating, plumbing and air conditioning systems that ensure efficiency and reliability in building services.

Geothermal energy: geothermal probes, collector systems and distribution systems for sustainable energy generation from the earth.

Innovative vulcanisation technology in a class of its ownWe have partnered industry for over 40 years, manufacturing technically demanding vulcanising plant at our production facilities near Düsseldorf.
On-going customer-oriented research and development and innovative processes profiled Gerlach Maschinenbau as the technology leader in hot air vulcanising of rubber profiles. From design, via production and beyond we represent the entire value-added chain on site. The result is evident in our sophisticated machine technology, producing lasting high quality products.All under one roof and “Made in GERMANY”.

Under the brand name SKETmatik, Ematik GmbH develops custom tailored Single-screw extruder.
All extruders, leaving the production, are tailored to the needs of our customers. The single-screw extruder have a screw diameter in the range of 16 to 160 mm and are designed for:
• Mass Plastics (PE, PP, PVC ...)
• Technical Plastics (PMMA, PA6, PA66, POM, PC, TPE, TPU ...)
• High-Performance Plastics (PEEK, fluoropolymers, PPC ...)
