Beverage vending machines are mostly used to sell cold drinks (water, cola, lemonade etc.) and are usually located in busy public places. The drinks are usually dispensed in cans or bottles. For hot drinks such as coffee or cocoa, a cup is common.

In summary it can be said that vending machines make sense, but they can't replace direct sales and contact with customers.
