Because of the advantages (for example, cost, space, and weight savings) that flexible and Rigid-Flex-circuit boards have for some projects, they are used ever more frequently. Multi-CB can produce your flexible circuit boards with the highest quality, either as prototype or as series.
The standard surface used is chemical gold (ENIG), the contours are formed according to requirements, preferably using laser cutting, or also with mechanical milling.

Flexible and flex - rigid printed circuit boards (PCBs).

For layers, flex boards support 1 - 8 layers while flex - rigid ones range from 3 - 6 layers. Materials used include PI, PET, and FR - 4. The final thickness varies: flex boards are 0.002" - 0.1" (0.05 - 2.5mm) and flex - rigid boards are 0.0024" - 0.16" (0.06 - 4.0mm).
Surface treatments are lead - free, such as ENG Gold, OSP, immersion silver, and immersion tin. Board size ranges from a minimum of 0.2" x 0.3" to a maximum of 20.5" x 13".
Parameters like min trace, width/min clearance, min hole ring, copper thickness, and insulation thickness have specific values.
For hole - related specs, the min hole size is 6mil with defined tolerances. There are also standards for slot size, solder mask and silkscreen alignment tolerances, silkscreen line width.
Plating thicknesses for gold, immersion nickel/gold, immersion silver, and OSP have set ranges. Test voltage for the testing fixture is 50 - 300v, and there are different profile tolerances for punch based on mould type.
