History
BEHRINGER GmbH was founded in 1919 by August Behringer as a mechanical workshop. After World War II, the company developed and produced its first hacksawing machine. In 1952, it commissioned the first in-house iron foundry to feed its ever expanding saw production. Since development of the first Behringer bandsawing machine in 1977, and after taking over circular sawing specialist EISELE in the year 2000, BEHRINGER GmbH has been one of the few complete suppliers in the sawing technology market.
Today BEHRINGER is an owner-managed medium-sized family firm under its third generation of family management. Our corporate ethos is based on traditional values, solid technological competence and a high vertical depth of production. We are a company oriented towards the long-term, and we promote a culture of cooperative partnership with our customers and suppliers.
What drives us forward as a competence and technology leader in the field of bandsaws and circular saws is our passion for the sawing process. We are one of a very small number of complete suppliers in the sawing technology market. Its product range spans from bandsawing and circular sawing machines through hacksaws to plants for steel construction. At the same time, we provide our customers with specialist expertise in the field of material handling.
The second pillar of Behringer GmbH is its own in-house foundry. We supply some of the components for our own machine production, but our foundry is at work producing parts for our customers from the German mechanical engineering industry. From raw castings in grey or spheroidal graphite cast iron through to ready-to-mount components, we supply everything from a single source.
The BEHRINGER Group is counted among one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-performance bandsaw and circular sawing technology. Working in cooperation with subsidiary Behringer Eisele in Weilheim/Teck and our French sister company Vernet Behringer based in Dijon, the Group is among the few complete suppliers operating in the marketplace. Behringer’s customers range across the whole of the metalworking and steel construction industry as well as the mechanical and plant engineering sector. Behringer sawing machines are also used by steel manufacturers and dealers, in smelting works and forging plants. Users whose manufacture requires the cutting of NF metals such as copper and aluminium also form part of our customer base.
International presence
Behringer GmbH is active both in national and international arena. It has been a regular exhibitor and participant at international conferences, trade fairs and events for many decades. Employing a workforce of some 400 around the world, the company exports to over 70 countries. Subsidiaries in Weilheim / Teck, the USA and France, and representations around the world ensure optimum customer support. Despite its international orientation, the company remains firmly tied to its current location.

In order to meet the diversified and individualized needs of customers from different dimensions and realize one-stop purchasing for customers, the company has also built an organic processing workshop with more than 30 sets of processing and testing equipments, such as vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers, gantry machining centers, CNC gantry milling machines, gantry planers, CNC boring machines, CNC lathes, vertical lathes, drilling machines, wire-cutting machines, large-scale three-coordinate measuring machines (1800x3000x1400mm), and so on. Casting Process: Resin sand casting and lost foam casting adopted, suitable for complex structural parts such as bed frames, columns, worktables and crossbeams, ensuring dense internal structure without sand holes or air holes;

Processing Equipment: Large CNC gantry milling machines (stroke range 850×650×1000mm - 8000×3000×1500mm), machining accuracy ±0.02mm/m, realizing high-precision forming of core structures;

Customization Scope: Structural dimensions, wall thickness (≥10mm), casting tolerance, processing procedures (milling/drilling/boring), mechanical parameters (hardness/tensile strength) can be adjusted as required;

Quality Inspection: Non-destructive testing (UT/MT), 3D coordinate measuring, material spectral analysis, mechanical performance testing, complete inspection report provided.

2. Cast Iron Surface Plates

Material Standard: High-quality cast iron HT200-HT350 selected, with uniform and dense material, featuring high rigidity, wear resistance and no deformation;

Production Process: Treated with artificial aging (to eliminate internal stress), combined with CNC precision machining and precision grinding processes, suitable for full range of products including T-slot plates, motor test platforms, marking/inspection/assembly plates;

Processing Equipment: High-precision milling machines and CNC grinders, ensuring flatness and parallelism of plates meet standards, with smooth and burr-free surface;

Customization Scope: Size specifications, number/spacing/depth of T-slots, surface precision, mounting holes, custom design by drawing for multi-scene adaptation;

Quality Inspection: Flatness testing, Brinell hardness testing, appearance defect inspection, complying with machining industry standards, no deformation during long-term use.

3. Cast Aluminum Parts

Material Standard: Customizable for various grades of aluminum alloys, complying with ASTM/DIN/GB international standards. Features light weight, corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity;

Casting Process: Covering investment casting and die casting, suitable for complex cavity and thin-walled structural parts, with high forming efficiency and strong dimensional stability;

Processing Equipment: CNC gantry milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, machining accuracy ±0.03mm/m, meeting precision aluminum part processing requirements;

Customization Scope: Structural design, wall thickness (≥3mm), surface treatment (anodizing, spraying, electrophoresis), mechanical parameters (tensile strength/elongation) can be customized as needed;

Quality Inspection: Air tightness test, salt spray corrosion test, 3D coordinate measuring, material spectral analysis, ensuring product adaptation to industrial application requirements.

4. 3D Flexible Welding Platform

Material Standard: High-quality cast iron (HT250-HT300) or high-strength steel plate welded forming, surface quenched (hardness HRC22-28), featuring high load-bearing capacity and anti-deformation;

Production Process: Integral casting/steel plate welding + artificial aging + CNC precision machining, standard positioning holes (D28/D16) distributed on platform surface, adapting to rapid clamping needs;

Processing Equipment: Large CNC gantry milling machines, precision grinders, platform flatness ≤0.02mm/m, positioning hole spacing accuracy ±0.01mm;
