Task of the customer
Wanted were electric flow heaters for gaseous media, e.g. for drying processes. The installation could be done in existing ducts and furnaces as well as by screwing to existing flanges. Due to the medium temperatures of over 300°C, the heaters were designed with a cooling section and additional thermal insulation. For humid or aggressive media, the entire construction was made of stainless steel. Due to the different operating and installation conditions, individual planning and implementation was necessary. The heating elements were separately dimensioned for each flow heater and designed for the required maximum surface temperatures. This, together with a high-quality stainless steel jacket and a solid electrical rail, guarantees a long service life. The regulation was carried out by the customer, whereby an electromechanical limiter was provided as overtemperature protection. Power: up to 170 kW

The projects were realized and delivered within 5 weeks. The price ranged between
€ 1.500,-- and € 10.000,-- per register.
