How does induction work?
First, a magnetic field is generated by applying current to a coil. If a workpiece made of electrically conductive material is then brought close to the magnetic field, an electric current is induced in the workpiece, which flows through the workpiece and thus generates heat (lat. inducere = to introduce). With induction heating, the heat is generated directly in the component itself and is not supplied from outside.

Our standard portfolio covers operating frequencies from 4 kHz to 3,000 kHz and power ratings between one kilowatt and 250 kW. On request, we can also develop customized solutions for systems outside our core portfolio.
