Electric tank heaters protect liquid media from freezing.
They are placed directly into the medium horizontally on the tank bottom.
The electrical protection class is IP68
.
The installation of a threaded connection below the medium level is not necessary.
The tank heater is inserted into the tank through an opening in the lid or laterally above the medium level.
Only one cable entry must be fitted to lead the cable out.
A thermostat with a cut-off temperature of 20°C (10°C on - 20°C off) is fitted as standard.
Other voltages, powers or temperatures (max. 50°C), as well as the installation of limiters are possible at any time as a special design.
Depending on the surface load, the tank heaters are suitable for: mineral oil, water-glycol, water (no deionised water), rapeseed oil, lubricating oil, motor oil, etc.
The connecting cables are made of oil-resistant material.
