Hydraulic gear pumps are a form of hydraulic pump or hydraulic pump (Hydraulic gear pumps) based on the use of gear wheels (internal (internal gear pumps) or external (external gear pumps). Their task is to generate an almost continuous eddy current. This must remain constant even if a pressure (high-pressure gear pumps) is created in the hydraulic system by resistances. Hydraulic gear pumps are designed for pressure ranges between 200 and 300 bar and are therefore already significantly more pressure-resistant than the vane pump also used in hydraulic systems.
Hydraulic gear pumps
Hydraulic gear pumps suck usually a pressurized hydraulic fluid from a tank, which then fills the cavities between the teeth and from there is pumped via pipes, hoses and valves to hydraulic cylinders or hydraulic motors to perform mechanical work there. The hydraulic gear pump thus operates in a closed circuit in which there is a suction side and a pressure line between which the pump operates. Other types of pumps used as hydraulic pumps include hydraulic gear pumps and vane pumps, the even more powerful axial piston pumps, radial piston pumps and reciprocating piston pumps.
