Calculation and simulation
With our own developed software we calculate your cam gears and mechanisms. This includes the kinematic and kinetic analysis of all plane and spatial cam mechanisms and mechansims.
The objectives of the calculation or design are manifold.
Besides new applications to be developed, existing structures can be optimized. For example, this can be used to reduce the load on the cam surfaces, to improve running behaviour, to reduce the size of the unit and, in particular, to increase service life and productivity - the so-called "output capacity".
This means that parameters such as material, design and heat treatment of cams, cylinder curves or globoidal curves can be adapted in terms of economic efficiency.
Part of the service to be provided can be the simulation of the optimized or specially for your application newly developed gearbox.
The simulation covers the complete (coupling) gearbox and illustrates its input and output movement.
Design In addition
to design, we also offer (additionally) the design of special gear units and automation solutions.
The basis of our designs is the requirements specification, which we work out together with you for new developments. Based on the specifications, all related parts and assemblies are designed in the 3D CAD system Solid Edge.
These parts can then be manufactured and assembled in our company. This offers you the advantage of not having to take any further steps in the manufacture of your product.
Reverse Engineering
In a large number of cases, no or unusable drawings of a curve are available, but an existing copy of the curve itself. In such a case we can measure and digitize the curve. Thus, production documents can be created and the curve can then be manufactured by us.
If, in addition to the "sample curve", drawings of the lever or ram and the coupling structure are also known, the laws of motion can also be determined. Reverse engineering is also used for a target/actual comparison between an existing cam plate and a CAD model produced from a drawing, for example.
