The exodus from the city is over. It pulls the people back into the cities. Here they find mostly a stock that does not meet today's requirements. Often the apartments are too small and too uncomfortable. The building services are not up to date, windows and doors are worn out. Usually the energy consumption is also very high. The bathrooms are usually outdated.
In short: very many houses have reached or exceeded their usability and are simply inhabited.
Very often, two apartments have to be combined in terms of conversion to create an acceptable new residential unit.
This is where we come in and see our task as modernising old housing stock. Depending on the requirements, a distinction can be made as to whether the property is to be used for own purposes or whether it should be rented out. We see our task among other things also in creating new additional living space from e.g. former shop premises and old commercial areas which are no longer used.
