We are a group company located in Foshan, China, with two manufacturing plants, coving a production area more than 70,000Sqare meters. Schmidbauer only selects high quality metal cores complying to DIN regulations. Depending on application requirements special metal alloys or module constructions are used.
By the way – both of our standard series and the special constructions fulfil national and international regulations.
Automated core welding, vacuum sealing, Testing of every single unit produced.
NC controlled welding for cores complying with EI54 to EI195, including simultaneous welding of mounting brackets.
Vacuum sealing with synthetic resin system, insulation class F.
Transformers e.g. in polyamide housings can be completely and automatically sealed with PU resin.
PC based testing are used to check every single transformer unit before leaving our production facilities (amperage, voltage, coil and insulation resistance, phase sequence, high-voltage tests).

An electronic transformer is an electrical engineering system. A transformer usually has an iron core. Two or more conductors of circuits are wound around it several times. If an AC voltage is now applied to a winding (transformer coil), the second winding produces an AC voltage in the same ratio to the first voltage applied as the number of windings to each other. Thus, the purpose of transformers is to increase or decrease the AC voltages. In addition, the transformer provides galvanic isolation of the various circuits. With electronic devices, transformers are used to convert the AC mains voltage applied to the socket from the usual 230 V to the optimum operating voltage of the respective electrical devices. Transformers also play an important role in sound technology for signal processing. For example, they are used in DI boxes, microphones and amplifiers. Transformers up to the three-digit MHz frequency range are used for common-mode rejection. Examples of this are voltages which are present on both transmission lines and have the same sign. Transformers are used to register the difference between the two terminals and thus do not transmit common-mode interference.
