The main activity of stecher ceramicparts gmbh is the processing of ultra-hard materials such as ceramics and synthetic sapphire.
Our goal is to support our customers with our know-how in the development and realization of products.
We machine your parts with inexpensive manufacturing processes in our own production workshop. These are produced in a fired, hard state from stored semi-finished products. This enables us to achieve a high degree of flexibility and to offer short-term delivery options.
Our manufacturing processes are particularly suitable for prototype construction and individual parts. However, depending on the process, we can also realise small series/series.

Our processing techniques:

• cut-off grinding max. diameter 70mm; max. length 250mm
• Surface and groove grinding max. length 300mm
• CNC contour grinding max. 200 x 130mm
• cylindrical grinding max. diameter 150mm; max. length between centres 350mm
• Centerless grinding max. diameter 50mm
• CNC round profile grinding max. diameter 100mm
• Internal honing max. inner diameter 25mm
• Flat lapping; -Polishing does not mean optical polishing for sapphire!
• Round polishing min. diameter 5mm; max. diameter 30mm

• Ceramic materials exhibit very high mechanical strength which is required for the application as components for machines and equipments.
• The hardness of advanced ceramic materials is above 9 on Moh´s Scale, and only diamond is harder (which rates 10 on Moh´s Scale). For this reason ceramic materials are excellent suitable for the production of parts with very high wear resistance e.g. for the paper-, textile- and wire industry.
• The low density of the ceramic material is advantageous in the design of rotating movable parts such as bearings, valves, and rotors.
• Ceramic materials are extremely heat resistant. The properties of metals can be significantly above 500 ° C after. Construction ceramics, however, can also be used above 1000 ° C. Ceramic components, for example in the metal industry in direct contact with molten metal (eg Abziehringen) is used.
• In contrast to metals ceramic materials react only insignificant with acids and bases. Therefore they are ideal for the application in chemical industry.

Moreover, ceramic materials are bioinert and are used as implants (e.g. hip joint endoprosthesis, tooth pins, malleus).
All ceramic materials (also non-oxide) exhibit excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

atech innovations gmbh, based in Gladbeck, Germany, has been involved in the sale of high-quality ceramic membranes for a wide range of industrial applications in the chemical and biotechnology, food and beverage and wastewater treatment/recycling sectors since 1989 and in their development and manufacture since 1992.
In addition to ceramic membranes in various geometries and channel cross-sections, atech also offers associated pressure housings made of various stainless steels and plastics. The designs comply with international standards and also take into account hygiene requirements such as US 3-A Sanitary Standard Design. In addition, atech`s qualified staff and technical facilities are available for services such as pilot plant/filtration tests.
Depending on the requirements of the respective application, atech offers a wide range of different membrane geometries: Mono- and multi-channel membranes with different channel cross-sections, covering the range of ultra- (from 1 kD) and microfiltration (up to 1.2µm).
Due to the extensive product range, atech can supply membrane replacements for many membranes on the market.
