Castings make up an important segment in the range of products that Temming GmbH & Co. KG offer, with concentration in particular on gray iron nodular graphite cast iron components. In the modern casting plants of our partners, the materials GG 15 to G 30 as well as GGG 40.3 to GGG 70 with part weights from 300 g up to 6 t are produced – in some cases part weights up to 15 t are possible. On request, Temming GmbH & Co. KG can also offer any part finished, primed, painted, and preservative-coated.

History
BEHRINGER GmbH was founded in 1919 by August Behringer as a mechanical workshop. After World War II, the company developed and produced its first hacksawing machine. In 1952, it commissioned the first in-house iron foundry to feed its ever expanding saw production. Since development of the first Behringer bandsawing machine in 1977, and after taking over circular sawing specialist EISELE in the year 2000, BEHRINGER GmbH has been one of the few complete suppliers in the sawing technology market.
Today BEHRINGER is an owner-managed medium-sized family firm under its third generation of family management. Our corporate ethos is based on traditional values, solid technological competence and a high vertical depth of production. We are a company oriented towards the long-term, and we promote a culture of cooperative partnership with our customers and suppliers.
What drives us forward as a competence and technology leader in the field of bandsaws and circular saws is our passion for the sawing process. We are one of a very small number of complete suppliers in the sawing technology market. Its product range spans from bandsawing and circular sawing machines through hacksaws to plants for steel construction. At the same time, we provide our customers with specialist expertise in the field of material handling.
The second pillar of Behringer GmbH is its own in-house foundry. We supply some of the components for our own machine production, but our foundry is at work producing parts for our customers from the German mechanical engineering industry. From raw castings in grey or spheroidal graphite cast iron through to ready-to-mount components, we supply everything from a single source.

High-Pressure Die Casting is a precisioncasting process in which molten metals—such as aluminum, magnesium, and zinc alloys—are injected at high pressure (30–70 MPa) into a steel mold cavity at high speed, then rapidly solidified under pressure. Its defining characteristics are high pressure + high-speed filling, making it ideal for mass production of complex, high-precision metal parts with wall thicknesses as thin as 0.5 mm, and a cornerstone technology in modern lightweight manufacturing.

While casting offers broader production scope for large-scale, complex metal components with average dimensional accuracy, die-casting employs high-pressure injection through precision molds. This method excels in mass-producing parts featuring thin walls, intricate geometries, smooth surfaces, and exact dimensions – though it requires significantly higher mold costs due to its high-efficiency nature.

Casting is mainly used to produce large and complex structural parts with high requirements for strength and durability, but relatively loose dimensional accuracy, such as heavy machinery, automobile industry, infrastructure.
Die casting focuses on the production of thin wall, complex shape, precision size and smooth surface small and medium-sized parts, suitable for mass production, typical fields include automotive industry, 3C electronics, daily hardware.
