Die casting is a metal forming process in which molten metal is injected into a precision mold cavity at high pressure, which is cooled and solidified to form high-precision, high surface quality castings
Casting-After the metal is melted into a liquid state, it is poured into the cavity of the model that is suitable for the shape and size of the part to be formed. After the liquid metal is cooled and solidified, the mold is opened (or destroyed) to take out the formed casting blank.

Pouring temperature:
Silicon aluminum alloy (such as ADC12): simple structural components at 610-630 ° C, complex components at 644-680 ° C 12.
Alloys with poor fluidity require an increase in temperature (e.g. A380 alloy can reach 720 ° C).
Mold temperature:
Aluminum alloy molds are recommended to be heated between 200-280 ° C, with higher temperatures required for thin-walled/complex parts.
2.Injection parameters
Injection speed:
Slow stage 0.1-0.5m/s (exhaust), fast stage 2-6m/s (filling) 45.
Thin walled components require a speed of ≥ 4m/s, while thick walled components can reduce the speed by 5.
Pressure ratio:
Thin walled components have a pressure range of 80-120MPa, while thick walled components can reduce pressure but require an increase of 5% in boost pressure.
3.Time parameter
Filling time: 0.01-0.1 seconds, extended by 3 seconds when the alloy temperature is high or the mold heat dissipation is fast.
Pressure holding time: ≥ 2 seconds, with an extension of 0.5 seconds for every 1mm increase in thick walled components.
4.Material and Composition Standards

The uniformly heating of the mould is a prerequiste for the stability of the moulded product. This could not be achieved through different temperatures within the mould. Through the high temperature, pressure and characteristecs of the aluminium alloy the finest structure of the mould is also filled. A further important component which is responsible for the shape and the stability of the end product is the precise metering during the filling. As the cooling process only lasts a few seconds and the mould can be reused after the usual production process, the aluminium die casting is a standard method for mass production.
Through the process and the characteristics of the aluminium alloy the manufactured products have distinctive characteristics. They are corrosion and weather resistant and have a high stability for a low weight. The technology is for this reason often integrated into the production process for various industries, such as for example motor vehicle industry or machinery construction.
