The machine, which has been popular with plumbers, plumbers and roofers for many years, is the flexible tool for true bending specialists: Segmented tools on all cheeks allow a large amount of freedom for complex workpieces. In the Schröder ASK3, which replaces the previous ASK II, new options increase this freedom. The handling of the machine has also been further improved in several areas.
More functions than the ASK II and considerably less expensive.
The ASK3 is now also available in the 1,250 mm version in addition to the previously available working lengths of 1,000 mm and 1,500 mm of the ASK. Another new feature is the option to choose between three different tool heights. This allows greater free passage heights to be achieved: up to 180 mm on the upper beam, up to 120 mm on the lower beam and up to 142 mm on the bending beam.
The foot lever for quick opening and closing of the upper beam has also been redesigned and makes repeated clamping of the sheet metal more convenient with a significantly larger opening of the upper beam.
The freely positionable support and stop brackets are designed in such a way that they can be moved and fixed particularly easily with just one handle. The position of the support brackets can be easily changed from the front. There is no need to walk around the machine! Clamping pressure settings and bending beam settings have also been improved. They are now carried out with knurled screws without additional tools. The new, disengageable bending angle stop proves to be very practical. Now the operator can maintain a bend angle setting and still bend an envelope, for example, in between. The stop is simply pushed to the side and the bending beam is free again. In addition to these improvements, the developers expanded the ASK3 with a generous storage area for tool segments that are currently not required.
