Powder Light Metals GmbH (PLM) is a private, independent, and owner-managed company. PLM was founded in June 2000.
The company's scope includes the development, production, and marketing of semi-finished products and/or components made from nano-structured lightweight metal alloys based on powder metallurgy, including the development and optimization of the necessary manufacturing processes and techniques. The material spectrum mainly comprises alloys based on aluminum, as well as corresponding metal matrix composites (MMC's) and intermetallics. Due to available machine capacities, we also currently offer waterjet cutting and CNC machining on a contract basis.
