Slawinski heads and bottoms are produced in a cold forming process. At our production site in Siegen-Weidenau, we produce heads and bottoms with diameters of up to 5,400 mm and wall thicknesses of 30 mm, through dishing and flanging forming processes.
At our Bad Laasphe factory, heads and bottoms with diameters of up to 3,100 mm and wall thicknesses of 12 mm are shaped using the spinning forming process. All heads and bottoms can be subjected to heat treatment after cold forming in accordance with the production code.

High-Pressure Die Casting is a precisioncasting process in which molten metals—such as aluminum, magnesium, and zinc alloys—are injected at high pressure (30–70 MPa) into a steel mold cavity at high speed, then rapidly solidified under pressure. Its defining characteristics are high pressure + high-speed filling, making it ideal for mass production of complex, high-precision metal parts with wall thicknesses as thin as 0.5 mm, and a cornerstone technology in modern lightweight manufacturing.
We operate a full suite of cold chamber die casting machines, including models of 180T, 300T, 400T, 800T, 1250T, and 1650T,alongside 400T and 950T semi-solid magnesium die casting systems.
