On various deep-drawing presses, cylindrical drawn parts, housings, precise deep-drawn parts and much more are produced. Here, the most diverse primary materials are used. We also profit from our experience in this area of forming technology and can fall back on an extensive range of tools.

The range of products provided by Temming GmbH & Co. KG includes cast parts – in particular grey and nodular cast iron, forged parts, turned parts, pressed and stamping parts, welded structures, and moulded rubber parts.

Stamping is Presses and dies apply external forces to metal materials such as plates, strips, and pipes to cause them to deform or separate plastically, thereby obtaining workpieces of specific shapes and sizes. The processing method is mainly cold stamping, that is, using dies to perform blanking, bending, drawing, forming, and finishing on metal plates at room temperature.

Choose metal plates of different hardness according to process requirements. For example, aluminum alloy plates are tested with a Webster hardness tester. If the thickness exceeds 13mm, use a Barcol hardness tester.

Our core strength in manufacturing deep drawn items lies in producing parts with exceptional draw depths, enabled by advanced engineering and precision processes. Below is a descriptive breakdown of key materials we work with, along with their critical deep drawing parameters that guide our production:

• Copper and Copper Alloys: Pure copper (T2, T3, T4) and brass (H62, H68) offer excellent ductility for deep forming. Their first draw coefficient ranges from 0.50 to 0.55, and subsequent draw coefficients from 0.68 to 0.80—supporting deeper single and multi-stage draws without material cracking.
• Aluminum and Aluminum Alloys: Soft alloys like 8A06-O and 1035-O have a first draw coefficient of 0.52–0.55 and later coefficients of 0.70–0.75. Harder variants (2Al2-O) use slightly higher coefficients (0.56–0.58 for first draws), balancing strength and formability for medium-to-deep drawn parts.
• Stainless Steels: Corrosion-resistant grades such as Cr18Ni and 1Cr18Ni9Ti have first draw coefficients of 0.50–0.55. Their robust mechanical properties require precise process control, but they enable deep draws for durable industrial and aerospace components.
