Boiler Feed Pumps
Boiler feed pumps are used for the fluid delivery of feed water at the steam boiler or steam generator. This pump can be used as a backing pump in power stations (power station pumps). Furthermore, this pump technology can be used as main pump with a final pressure of 360 bar (high pressure pumps) in large power plants. The design of the boiler feed pump is mainly based on the centrifugal pump. Since this pump system can optimally supply the steam generator with feed water. The resulting steam then drives a turbine to generate electricity.
